Is it true that once you have cellulite you can never get rid of it?
The honest answer is No! For many years I have suffered with cellulite on my thighs. Pretty much every woman has it, Even the top super models such as Kate Moss does. Nothing to be ashamed of!
Since I have had my little boy I have been constantly on the go, No time to relax but have made sure I look after my body 100%. My favourite skin product is Garnier Firming Cream its works wonders on my skin and smells beautiful & of fresh citrus fruits!
How do you get cellulite?
Well, You can get cellulite by many things such as your lifestyle, eating habits, sleeping patterns, clothing & lack of exercise. Cellulite is actually where your fat storage is and mainly in the parts where the muscles have gone unused for years.
Diet is a very important factor it should be a main priority in your life. Eating lots of carbohydrates and fatty foods causes the orange peel effect on your skin which is of cause cellulite.
What foods should be reduced in our diets?
Processed fatty foods are a no go!
Things like; sausages, cakes, bread, ice cream, meat fat, fizzy drinks, chips, burgers all of the nice things in life ;) They’re all full of bad toxins and our bodies don’t need them they just turn into excess fat. I am not saying quit them completely just cut down on them. It’s nice to have a treat time to time but not everyday, Make that treat count. Work for it!
What foods help reduce it?
There is such thing as good fat. These are the sort of fats we retain in our diet within limit.
Nuts, Seeds, Beans, Eggs, Olive Oil, Rapeseed Oil, Yogurt, fruit & vegetables, Chicken & Oily Fish.
Why is water so important?
It is very important in our diets to keep our bodies hydrated and for them to function properly. Your skin will glow & will love you for it!
I have never liked the taste of water personally, I enjoy a bottle of water with a whole Lemon or Lime cut up for added flavor & also helps breaks down bad toxins in the body. I drink 4 pints of water a day which is the equivalent of 8 glasses a day.
How often do I need to exercise?
I would recommend at least 3-4 times a week, I go the the gym 3 times a week and work very hard on cardio and strengthening exercises. I also workout when I wake up and before I go to sleep. To target that nasty cellulite squats & lunges are a must! But overall you need to strengthen your body to lose big amounts of unwanted fat work on weights to get your metabolism sky high! Hit the cardio to drop those pounds! I am sure you will start to see your skin tightening and that cellulite will soon vanish ;) Mine is!
Why is sleep important?
We should be getting at least 6 hours a day.
* Sleep helps us lose weight as your body is repairing it self as you sleep*
* Sleep also reduces stress, When we are stressed out our bodies panic and starts to store excess fat on those cellulite targeted areas!*
What can I use that is good for my skin?
Natural products are very good, Lavender Oil & Coconut Oil helps tone your skin. If used regulary these can help reduce the sight of cellulite. Take your daily dose of Vitamin C, lots of citrus fruits will give your skin a glow and keep it healthy.
Also check moisturizers and beauty products for Paraben’s as these are bad for your skin, They are chemicals which have preservatives qualities. Paraben’s are used in products to make cosmetics last longer for months on end! Food that lasts for a very long time has also got preservatives in it to make it last longer. These foods are certainly not good for you! So why put it on your skin? Your skin absorbs it and it is then in your blood stream and stored into excess fat. So if you think that cream is doing you good think twice! You’re just giving yourself twice the work! There are plenty of moisturizers out there without Paraben’s, Check out Palmer’s another cream I use which is fantastic and works.

Nearly there!!!!!!!! I am so happy with my progress now Half an inch to being a size 6 again! There is no such thing as can’t..This word gets you no where! The word CAN can get you anywhere you wish to be! I have not quit, I will only work harder & harder until i reach my goal <3
